2.3 LocalStorage (Not Cookies, But Similar)
Flotorq uses browser localStorage for some preferences. This is not technically a cookie but functions similarly. Data stored locally includes:
- Journal prompt cache (prevents repeated AI API calls)
- Mood logging support message dismissal state
- Command history (last 20 AI commands — stored locally for privacy)
- Achievement onboarding state
- Quick capture context
LocalStorage data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. You can clear it by clearing your browser's local storage for the Flotorq domain.
2.4 Analytics Cookies (Optional)
At this time, Flotorq does not use third-party analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics). If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
2.5 Advertising Cookies
Flotorq does not use advertising cookies. We do not run ads. We do not work with advertising networks. No advertising cookies are set by us or permitted on the Service.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on Flotorq are set by third parties. We do not control these cookies. The third parties that may set cookies are:
- Clerk (authentication) — see Clerk's cookie policy
- DodoPayments (payment processing) — see DodoPayments's cookie policy
4. How to Manage Cookies
All major browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies:

NOTE
Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from using Flotorq, as you will not be able to stay logged in. Deleting cookies will log you out and you will need to sign in again.
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Flotorq does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals as there is no consistent industry standard for their implementation. If a standard emerges, we will reassess.
6. Cookie Consent
For users in the EU/EEA, essential cookies are used on the basis of legitimate interest (the service cannot function without them). Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent, obtained through the cookie banner on first use.
7. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy as we add features or our cookie use changes. The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates when it was last revised.
